Ak9c offers a wide array of classes for the competition obedience exhibitor. Whether you are training for Novice, Open or Utility, American K9 Country offers the class to suit your scheduling and personal needs. Most of our competition classes run on a “drop in” basis, so handlers may attend as frequent as they need. Whether you are a Novice or an experience OTCH trainer, American K9 Country offers class to suit you!

Competitive Foundation:

Puppy Genius: The Puppy Genius class is for puppies 8 weeks and older as well as young dogs that are just starting their competitive obedience career. This class is the foundation to Celeste Meade’s “Attitude is Everything” training program & is taught in a fun, motivational way. Puppies are taught: motivational recalls, starting head-up heeling, come off distractions as well as sit & down stay. 
This card is run via a Punch Card System

Attention Class: This class is the continuation to the Puppy Genius class. Dogs will learn that you are the object of attraction! This class creates the WANT to watch you in distracted situations as well as continuing your dog’s education in the areas of come, stay & heeling for the competition dog & handler team.
The cost is $200 for 7 weeks

Drop In Classes:

Ak9C offers a wide array of classes for the competition student. These advanced competition classes are on-going and are run on a “Drop In” basis. If you would like to attend a class simply check our Schedule page for days & times, then simply show up to class.

The fee for Competitive Drop In classes are:

$200.00- Punchcard for 10 Classes
